Apologies for those that are following my journey but I missed the date to extend my initial crowdfundraising page. I have already raised £705 of my target £1000 so I am opening another page to complete the challenge - hopefully on the 25th January 2018 which will be Catrin's birthday and also the 6th anniversary of when I first got involved with Ystradgynlais.

6 years agoWell, well, well - who would ever have believed it. Set your mind to something and anything is acheivable. I wanted to finish by 25th January which was a BIG ask with 20 miles still to go 10 days ago but we are on track! 12 miles swam this week (double any previous efforts) and only 8.1 miles to go. SO happy.

6 years agoWow - so I have finally crossed the 100 mile marker! It was a slow December as I am normally quite busy out carolling for various bands and I also indulged in a little bit of winter sun. NOW the big push is on to finish the final 20 miles - and I still want to complete by Jan 25th so I will be swimming EVERY day from now on and upping the ante! Thankyou all so much for your support, glad to see a new donation drop into the box this morning - the first for over a month. Big thanks to Rhys for providing the regular screenshots of the journey!
