Story
With the second candidate moving into their new home this weekend, let's make a start on the third...
Raising money to help get people a home: We are going to ask Threshold Housing to help us identify a candidate that they know of and have been working with (if the candidate lets us of course) and find them a privately rented place that accepts dss, along with threshold work with them to be job ready, get a hair cut, get some clothes, get them into work, give them a mentor from this group, offer them the opportunity to be apart of what we are doing, get them any qualifications needed. Aim is to show what can happen when there is a team of people behind them who care and get them off the streets.
Any money left over from homing will be put into the next fund.
