We are currently collecting donations for our Ukrainian refugee aid run. Our aim is to deliver 25 tonnes of aid to Chisinau, Moldova. Plenty of aid is being delivered to other countries around the Ukraine but it is rare for deliveries to Moldova. Moldova sits between Romania and Ukraine. It is expected that around 1 million refugees will have crossed the border into Moldova by the end of the month. Now, the total population of Moldova is only 2.5 million and it is a poor country so there will be an enormous strain on relief services there.

We will be delivering the aid to a charity distribution centre that has been set up in Chisinau run by Caritas Czech Republic. We will have a convoy of 3 vehicles with 6 drivers doing the run from Swindon. All of our drivers have donated their time free of charge and Nigel Hannon from Scorpion Engineering has donated the vehicles but we do need to raise money for the cost of Fuel, Ferries and Tolls.
