At the end of last year a few parents of children with Type One Diabetes got together to provide a social group for our kids to meet, build friendships and get a bit of support as there were little services out there. Our group has grown, the kids are making friends and we are getting word out there to families. Until last year here in Northern Ireland there were family events and children and young people camps where families/kids met and got some much needed support and a bit of a break, but these have been cancelled this year. Our aim is to plan and provide a camp OURSELVES, just a group of families with a bit of heart and determination! Together we are strong!💪 We shall update as we go(an adventure and a half!)
