In October 2015, Tam (Thomas) was diagnosed with oesophagus cancer. He received chemotherapy until February 2016, surgery to remove his oesophagus and part of his stomach in April 2016, he then spent a month in intensive care and went on to have a further 6 weeks of chemotherapy. Thankfully after this, and a difficult road to recovery, he was in remission.

Sadly, earlier this month Tam was once again diagnosed with cancer, multiple sites in both lungs, his liver and lymph nodes. Unfortunately, there is no treatment. He and his family have been given the devastating news that he only has a couple of months to live.

He has always been the one to go above and beyond to provide for his family providing structure and security. Not only financially, but being a figure of strength and positivity.

This has come as a massive unanticipated shock and despite him having the will to continue to provide, friends around him think that sometimes people not only deserve a little help but should also have some positive moments with their family. We're raising funds to help Tam tick some items of his bucket list, create some lasting memories and make life a little bit easier for him and his family.
