I am organising a Community Book Pledge to restock the bookshelves in the children's ward at Tameside Hospital, a place where my family has spent a bit too much time recently. Whilst there, I noted that many of the books were getting a bit tired and think it would be a great boost for the children there to have some new, up to date books to help them through a difficult time. Should the amount of money raised be above and beyond the needs of the children's ward, the additional books will go to a local school.
