I have often been overwhelmed by the enormity of the problems in the world! Sometimes this overwhelm causes a sort of paralysis. Wanting to DO something but where on earth do I start?

Having got involved in different great causes over the years I realised, you've just got to start something..... Doesn't need to be to find the one world solving solution to all ills (be nice though!!).

A few months ago I began helping collect second hand Bras to donate to a fantastic project in Tanzania. The thing is, Bras in Tanzania are a luxury item, only well off women can afford them. The fact that a woman wears a Bra drastically reduces the risk of Sexual Assault as the fear of repercussions from the family assumed to be well off would prevent the attacker from assaulting the woman. Such a simple protection but very effective for these vulnerable, poor women.

A few weeks ago I was invited to join the team actually GOING out to the villages to help fit the donated Bras. To be able to hand deliver and see the work of the project first hand is incredible.

I will be filming the journey to enable you all to see it for yourselves. For you to see how we can all come together to affect in a powerful and positive way the lives of people many miles away.

Included in this trip will be work on a local children's school too. The school is currently being built and there will be lots to do to get the building children ready!

Your donation will go to supporting both these projects, to help with the practical issue of transporting the Bras and equipment over to Tanzania, for longer term support of the much needed school.

To be able to reach out to these mothers, daughters and sisters across the world, help them protect themselves from this horrendous crime is a privilege. I would like to bring their story back for you to hear.

We know education is the road out of poverty and to be able to support children on this journey is a real gift and investment for the world.
