Story
Defibrillators can save lives. With CPR and the use of a defib within 3 minutes, the chance of survival could be as high as 70%. These devices can be used by people, often with little or no training, to re-start the heart of a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. We would like to provide a defibrillator for the local residents/visitors to Davenport/Woodsmoor. Davenport is getting a mini facelift woth the revamping of ‘The Jolly Sailor’ amongst other new premises. A defibrillator will be a very positive addition to the community. We need to raise £600 in order to achieve this.
