We are Team 6 of the NCS Dartford Blue Wave. For our social action project we will be helping the local YMCA homeless shelter. In order to carry out our plans we would like to raise 110 pounds. This money will go towards purchasing useful items for the residents at the centre as well as buying materials we could use to decorate the garden of their new cafe to make it a more welcoming environment to attract more customers. This is essential as the YMCA relies solely on charitable donations as they do not receive money from the government in order to run these essential shelters.
