Team Impulse are taking part in the Nuclear Race 5k muddy obstacle course.. In the dark!!
With numerous team mates being scared of the dark & a huge variety of fitness ability, together we can complete the challenge in aid of raising money for The Stroke Rehabilitation Programme. We aim to fund for a minimum of 15 people who have recently suffered from a stroke to be able to take part in a water based Stroke Rehabilitation Programme. This programme not only gaurantees overall support but aims to assist in regaining feeling and use in the arms and legs through the help of water based movement, especially those who need wheelchairs where land based rehabilitation​ is too difficult at this stage. It will aid in improving strength in the muscles and joints as well as helping to increase mobility in the joints. Above all, the programme is held in an outside of hospital environment allowing people to feel a sense of normality back in their lives.
