Weʼre raising £1,000 to Help kaylums kisses become a Registered Charity and provide treasured keep sakes for families who have lost children or in palitative care
- Bristol, UK
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Kaylums Kisses is an initiative developed by the family of a 5 year old boy Kaylum who sadly lost his second battle with Neuroblastoma in August 2016
Kaylum endured 3 years of intensive and intrusive therapy and operations, however it was not meant to be. What Kaylum went through when he was barely more than baby was unbearable for his family to watch.
It has now been a year since Kaylums passing and the family would like to set up a charity so that his name will live on forever. They hope that they can bring comfort to other parents, who like the, are faced with the devastation of losing a child.
Kaylums Kisses will offer, a 3D sculpture of the child’s hand or foot and/or a necklace with their child’s fingerprints engraved. The castings are life size, detailing every crease, line and nail. To have something that families can physically hold and touch, will be priceless.
Nobody wants to, or should ever have to, consider doing such a thing, and to help bring comfort in a world of sorrow and pain is now their mission bought about through their own regrets and experience.
Please can I ask for your support through donations of fund raising to help them achieve this wish and to help bring comfort to those who endure this heartache, it is only with the support of the public that they will be able to achieve this, every bit of help counts, great or small.
