45000 Scouts from all across the world have been invited to attend the World Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia USA during the summer of 2019.

Myself and 3 colleagues are attempting the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge in April 2018 to raise as much money as possible to support a group of local Scouts from our area to achieve their goal of raising £12000 which will not only mean they can attend as a member of the United Kingdom contingency but also will help Scouts from developing nations to attend also.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge is a walk of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The challenge covers a distance of 26 miles and the circuit of all three peaks with be nearly 1,600 m of ascent and descent over a challenged time of 10 hours.
