When mum was going through radio and chemo therapy treatment for anal cancer, she found it very painful to sit down which made life difficult. Traveling in a car, sitting at the table, sitting down was almost unbearable. She found a cushion that really helped and suggested that she provide the hospital with these cushions to help other patients. It is a small gesture but it has meant a lot to the 40 patients who have already recieved a cushion! It‘s always going to be difficult for everyone when undergoing treatment but offering a small amount of comfort is a gift. Thank you Mum for thinking of others during your own treatment.
