Tommy is possibly the most loved Pug in Town. He belongs to my best friend of over 30 years. Hes a little ray of sunshine and everyone loves him. He has made lots of friends at daycare and is so loving and god damn cute.

A few weeks ago Tommy started to be off balance, walking has if he was drunk. His family took him to the vets and he was referred for a MRI Scan. Unfortunately Tommy's results were the worst possible outcome. Tommy has a problem with his spine and its pressing on his nerves. If left Tommy will be left paralysed and incontinent and have no quality of life. His hind legs now are dragging and keep on falling as he walks..so hes now confined to a cage to rest. He is only 10 months old.

Time is against him to get surgery asap, hes had an urgent referral made and only 2 vets have agreed to do it. One in France and the other im Scotland. Tommy is from Sunny St helens so Scotland it is. The team are ready to accept Tommy and perform pioneering surgery to give him his little legs back and so he can enjoy the rest of his life. How he deserves.

As you can imagine this is very worrying and upseting for Tommys family and anyone who has grown to love him.

The MRI and Consult fees have already cost over £2000 and the surgery plus cosultation in Scotland is Estimated at £4, 100. His family are going to have to take time of work and travel upto scotland so will also have the added costs of travel and accomodation to add to their worries.

The specialist want payment up front and he needs it doing Now.

Tommy has got insurance but as always its never straight forward and his familys are back n forth to them, but its certain even if they do eventually agree to pay towards Tommys operation, its not going to be upfront. So we now need to raise this money before next Wednesday to give him the best chance he can.
If we raise more than needed or the insurance reimburse all or part of the money, this will then be split with animal charities. Please Help!
