Story
This fundraising site is to raise money for our local Mental Health and LGBTQ+ Centre who desperately need a garden renovation which our NCS team have decided to help with. This renovation will be run by a NCS group called Team Undivided which consist of 16 teenagers aged 15 and 16 this group are part of a 4 week NCS programme to help build our community. We have chosen this centre due to them needing a safe place for children between the ages of 11 to 25 years old, who suffer from a wide range of mental illnesses so they can receive the care and support they need. This cause is really close to all our team because no children should have to go through all this on their own they need a well supported group that can help them everyday. If we could do this renovation it will have a massive impact on all the children that go there because it will reassure them that the community do care about them and that they dont want them to feel different. This renovation will allow these children to experience a nice, bright life with the correct support they need to allow them to move their lives forward without feeling trapped.
