Oscar will shortly be embarking on a 2 week cricket tour to Sri Lanka with his school. While there, they will be visiting one of the 'Foundation of Goodness' bases, which is a Sri Lankan charity that work to bridge the gap between urban and rural communities. The 2004 tsunami destroyed a great deal of Sri Lanka and, consequently, this charity has been heavily relied upon by the many orphans that were created that day. Oscar's school are holding several charity events to raise money but have also asked all the boys who are going on tour to raise money individually.

The boys are all attempting to run, cycle and row the circumference of Sri Lanka (85km) in their effort to raise sponsorship. I promise that I will not be running his miles and Allan will not be cycling his miles, although I'm sure Oscar would be more than happy with that!
