Story
Myself and some of my Year 11 classmates are raising money for us to participate in the World Challenge that takes place in July 2017. The purpose of this organisation is to allow young people to travel across the world and help those less fortunate than themselves.
Up until May 2017, we will be raising as much as we can through bake sales and sponsored events. If we are able to raise the money we will be given the opportunity to participate in a 5 day trek across the jungle with a survival guide teaching us every step of the way, help local communities by teaching children or building houses/classrooms providing them with a safe place to sleep/learn and visit the elephant sanctuary to assist cleaning and feeding these previously mistreated animals.
Not only will this unmissable adventure give me skills i will need throughout my life but will help me overcome some personal challenges and allow me to really understand what life is like for others less fortunate than myself. I would be extremely grateful if you could donate anything you can to allow me to be apart of this team and make some people’s lives that little bit better.
