Story
Hi everyone!
As some of you might know, I am launching an online support hub for new mums at the end of June. It combines expert information about topics related to baby and mum whilst also providing a little online village of support from a lovely community from other new and more experienced mums.
To celebrate the launch, I'm running a free event for mums and babies/toddlers to raise money for a local charity called The MotherHood on the 22nd June.
This is a brief overview of what The MotherHood will be aiming to do:
"The MotherHood - Helping Women Transition Through Motherhood. At The MotherHood we firmly believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Sadly, our society today has lost many elements of that village with families being separated and living in different parts of the country to our traditional support units. Often with an overwhelming pressure to cope by ourselves. The MotherHood is here to support all mums regardless of the age of their children, or their family structure, providing a support network to reduce feelings of loneliness and instill a feeling of togetherness. The MotherHood , and it’s village mentality will bring back that sense of community, providing a safe space through various mean including a mentor/buddy system whereby we can partner you up with a fellow mum who can meet for coffee, chat or just be your sounding board. We have a community area whereby we can sign post mums to other great organisations, a dedicated “dads” area, a monthly social/meet up where mums can come chat and meet other like minded mums whilst, for instance, learning a new skill or listening to a talk. "
It's new charity (although the people behind it have already raised £11k for charity so they know what they are doing!) and they are at the final stages of completing the paperwork with the charities commission. All funds will be donated once the registered charity number is given in the next few weeks.
How does the raffle work?
When you donate, you will be entered into the raffle to win one of the many fantastic prizes that have been donated by businesses.
Every £1 donated gets one entry into the raffle.
Prizes will be announced on Facebook and Instagram from Saturday 16th June – Thursday 21st June.
Companies donating to the raffle include: Childs Farm, Spacemasks, Mummas Wellbeing,Pip and Dot, Isabella & Us, Love Bubba Boxes and many more!

Winners will be announced on Facebook and www.mamabubabump.co.uk/launchevent and you can also find the full T&C's there too.
PLEASE NOTE: If you donate after 2300 Thursday 21st June you will not be entered in to the raffle but your donation will still be gratefully received.
