    Story

The Young People Service is a youth service run in Wallasey from St. Pauls and St.Lukes Churches. At present there is a youth club that runs every Friday at St. Pauls hall in Seacombe however, we are hoping to launch another Youth Club at St. Lukes Church early in April...

We believe that if given a chance, the young people of today can thrive in the future, we want to provide that chance by giving them a safe place to come and get off the street and out of harms way. So many young people get caught up in youth crime, anti-social-behaviour and so much more due to the lack of community outreach that they have.

Our Job is to nourish and support the young people of Wallasey, enable them to choose different life choices from new opportunities arising. We will work 1 to 1 and in groups to ensure that the young people learn, team and relationship building skills.

Since 2012 the government have cut over £350,000,000 in funding for youth services which has been the result of young people having nowhere to go therefore, end up acting up on street corners in search of entertainment.

We are asking for help to raise money, to enable us to provide a good service for the young people and to cater there every need. There are so many things we would like to do with these young people, from community outreach to personal development the possibilities are endless. We hope that you can help us to provide what these young people need!

We would love to eventually fully obtain the current location of the youth club for the young people in Wallasey, as an independent community centre for youth for that we would need to raise £50,000…

I just want to take this opportunity to say thanks in advance even if you could just share this link would be greatly appreciated 😊

Our Youth Club is growing weekly, we would really love to do more with the children, like outings to the nearest bowling alley or to the beach in the summer! We are hoping to get as much community backing us as we can to enable this project to flourish, so please spread the word. The Young People Service is dedicated to making a change in the community, starting with the youth and working in to helping families in need. please if you are able help us so we can help them :)
