I'm expecting running a full marathon (26.2miles) to be difficult but...
"being deaf must be difficult, living a life with no sound... being blind must be difficult, living a life in darkness. so being both deaf and blind must be extremely difficult and lonely"
on considering the above, taking a bit of time to train and run a marathon is really no comparison to the difficulty and challenges that i imagine come with being Deafblind.
Imagine not being able to see your loved ones or watch your children grow up. Imagine never hearing the sound birds singing in the morning..the list is endless

Deafblind is a condition extremely close to home and extremely close to my heart and I am keen to raise money for a charity who helps make the lives of Deafblind people that little more bearable,a little more fun. To try and put a smile on their faces!

Having seen this condition take over my uncle's life I have seen first hand the affect it has on individuals lives and the lives of the people around them and it is heartbreaking.

I know nobody has "spare money" but if you could spare even £1 to help support this charity by clicking donate then you'd also be giving me support and motivation for the marathon that lies ahead!
