Story
We are four, third year Primary Education students currently studying at the University of Chichester. For our final wider curriculum module, we have been given a project with the slogan 'Making Change Happen'. Our challenge is to transform a shed at a local primary school into a an irresistible 'reading den' for the pupils to use at breaks and lunchtimes. A magical space that the children will find useful throughout their school lives, but also being of functionality to the school far beyond the end of our degree.
With no budget or funding, our project is dependent on donations and small fundraisers to make a real change to the space at the school. We are running Halloween themed stalls at the University of Chichester (Bognor campus) on 31st of October, as well as a stall at ROX Halloween event in Hotham park on the 28th. As we know not all of you will be able to make these dates, we have set up this fundraising page. No donation is too small so please help to support our project in transforming a reading den that will make such a difference to the children.
