The Derrick Meredith Trust has been created in memory of our beloved Father. He was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in January 2014 and after a long three and a half year battle with the disease has sadly passed.

During Derricks Career it took him from working in a bank all the way through his accountancy exams and chartership to being one of the founding members of Hwyel Da health board and finally ending up as the Chief Executive of the Isle of Anglesey Council.

He was truly an inspirational, kind and caring man who always give his time in mentoring others. His knowledge and expertise paid off on him, his family and others he touched over the last 59 years. As he gave so much of his time helping others we have decided to create this trust to rase money initially for McMillan, Mari Curie and Padarn Ward at Glangwili Hospital but also to continue to help others in due course.
