Jamie Hood, Craig Mullen, Andrew Dunn, Chris Kidd, Stephen Burns, Stephen Samo and Brian McKie are running a 7K on the 19th August 2018 for two causes close to our hearts.

The first is for a charity called The Crohn’s in Childhood Research Association (CICRA) is dedicated to creating a wider understanding of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, particularly as it affects children and young adults. It raises funds to support approved medical and scientific research aimed at finding more effective treatments and an eventual cure.

The second is for a local school called Ogilvie School Campus which focuses on children with special needs. This school gives them the support and skills that a mainstream school may be unable to provide due to other demands, allowing them to gain the skills and knowledge needed to enjoy a meaningful life.

Both of these establishments are entirely funded via donations and grants which is why fundraising is so important. We chose these two because we are either directly effected by these issues or have close family members who are.
