Story
Who are Little Legs Coady?
Little Legs Coady are Lennon and Layla, 3 year old twins who were born 12th July 2014 at just 28 weeks, weighing 2.10lb and 3lb. Both twins have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy.
Layla has an incredibly rare genetic disorder in which some of the genetic material that makes up one of the 46 chromosomes is missing.
Layla has the ONLY reported case of this particular missing strand in the world! She is unique.
Lennon is a good candidate for the SDR Operation which is NOT funded by the NHS. This would enable him to walk independently. The cost of the operation is approximately £38,000, aftercare and physiotherapy on top makes our overall target to raise at least £100,000.
