A big thank you to everyone that has contributed. During this process I have tried to steer clear of the blame game (as everyone can read this), but those close to us know that Mykolas was a healthy boy struck down with an illness that no-one could be bothered to find out more about. It would be easier to take if the system did basic checks when a poorly child makeseat repeated visits but they don't. This must change. We aren't entirely sure where all these funds will go but we do know it will be related to Mykolas and the whole he has left. X

Everyone that has donated, commented or messaged us in the last month should be proud of yourselves. You are what's good about this world, it's unfortunate that we now live in a time whereby we can no longer place our trust in the system. I beg you all that if your child is ever poorly you bang the walls down of the doctor you are seeing until you get answers. There is a reason that a child is poorly but unfortunately they do not have the time or resources to find out why. I trusted the system and it let us down. You only get one chance in life

So we are coming towards the end of this campaign. Today Trentham High sent 2 animal air balloons for the girls which immediately set me off. I still remember Gabija and Mykolas running around the animal show in Birmingham with their balloons. He was so happy that day. I can't describe how angry and upset I feel right now. I'll never understand why a perfectly happy healthy boy has left us. I can't see how we will ever be happy again. Everyone now will begin to move on with their lives, not us, we will forever be missing a piece of our hearts.x

Today has been a strange day. I've had several mood swings throughout the day which is unusual because usually if I'm down its for the whole day. People have spoken to me for the first time today which shows that some people have been unable to find the words. Like I've said any words are better than no words in a situation like this and because of the amount of support we have received its theasy people that have said nothing that stand out. I will always remember the people that stood with us yesterday. Miss you M x
