    Story

For almost two decades (blimey!), we've been writing, recording and releasing our family Christmas songs as our Musical Christmas Card. Now they're available on all digital music services (Spotify, Apple, Amazon and the like) to listen to around the world. And more than that ... every time someone listens to a song, money goes to charity!

This year we've teamed up with legendary Jewish crooner Lenny Beige to record "A Merry Lenny Christmas" - a funky little number about inclusion at Christmas which will raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Here's the story...

It’s almost 20 years since The Screaming Jacksons released their first song - Sleigh Bells and Holly - and began sharing it as their “musical Christmas card”. The idea started in 2006 years ago when Dad Stuart Jackson got fed up of not hearing any new Christmas songs in the charts.

Now, every time someone listens to the songs on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music or any digital music service, money goes to the charity. It’s that simple! "A Merry Lenny Christmas" is one of 17 songs, supporting 17 different charities on The Screaming Jacksons’ Festive Fa-La-La-La-La album this year.

Lenny Beige said: “Christmas is a time for loving, for giving, for caring, for sharing - and that’s exactly what we’re doing here. Making a bit of money for great organisations that do great things - all through the power of music. Bless you all this holiday season.”

Beige added: “This is a time to celebrate peace, love, family and friends no matter what you believe. If you dig that, you’re going to dig this song.”

When they started, the Jackson family children were 2 years old, 6 months old - and one wasn’t even born! Now 15, 17 and 18, and you can hear the kids grow up singing on the songs as each new Christmas tune was released.

In recent years, we've raised thousands of pounds since putting them on digital music services, giving people across the world the opportunity to experience the songs and raise a bit of money, just by listening to them.

But as well as listening to raise money you can also make a donation here on our Just Giving page ... which would be wonderful. If there's a specific charity from the list below that you want your donation to go to, please reference the name of the charity when you make the donation and we'll be sure it gets there. Otherwise, we'll split your donation equally among all the charities. Thank you!

The list of songs and charities they support are:
