Brian Spencer (our dad) contracted covid on 04th Jan 2021, he hated hospitals but my mum called an ambulance which resulted in him being admitted to University Hospital Hairmyres in East Kilbride, and that would be the last time she seen him. The doctors and nurses worked around the clock, turning him over to allow air into his lungs, and constantly supervising his condition, they also kept my mum up to date on a daily basis with calls on how he was doing. During his time in hospital and over the weeks his condition deteriorated and sadly my dad simply had enough and passed away on 02nd Feb 2021. To show our gratitude to the hospital and their support to my dad we are holding a charity evening in Blantyre Bowling Club on 09th Oct 2021, as the club can only hold 100 people, we are opening this page in case anyone that cant make it would like to make a donation to the hospital or buy a virtual ticket.

We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide.

And although we cannot see you, You are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.
