Having support for mums and their village of supporters is vital within the community as this brings unity, love and confidence for all.

I am so pleased that The Unlikely Mummy is being recommended by peers, Local Authority's, Children's Centres, NHS, CCG and local providers to support mums mental health but we can do more. Your investment is key in delivering our missions to support all mums to feel safe in a non-judgemental environment.

The Unlikely Mummy gives a platform like no other, real time support, opportunity to talk, online community and face to face events within Kent and London. It will never be an over night fix for women and mum who suffer with mental health illness, but we can go a long way in supporting the needs to help.

Kavita is a mum of two children and she has overcome and survived both PND and PTSD. She has used her experience to support several causes, one of which is the 6-8 postnatal GP check with NCT. She has also spoken on LBC around the impact of social media on mental health.

She created The Unlikely Mummy to support other mums to empower them to be the best versions of themselves. She feels no mum should be made to feel the way she has been made to feel in the past.

By creating a confidential  community for mums she understands how important it is to work through the challenges faced. She want everyone mum to feel empowered and comfortable without the fear of judgment. The Unlikely Mummy Community is here to help you feel like what you are feeling is ‘normal’ and we can find the answers together.

The Unlikely Mummy is a nonprofit community investment organisation, all money is reinvested into the community to support more women.
