To cut a long story short I decided to use a walking holiday to raise funds for various causes. Why not just one? Because each represent part of what makes me me and also I'm indecisive as anything.

Steve Irwins wildlife Warriors represents the legacy of a person I have adored and Idolised For as long as I can remember and I can trace many of my aspirations back to watching Steve as a young child. 826LA Is a Charity I descovered through the Critical Role Podcast which rekindled my adoration of table top RPGs and through this I have met many new friends (and become a bigger nucence to anyone who'll listen to my geeky ramblings) and come out of my shell a great deal so donating to the Charity which enjoys the support of the cast of Critrole and my fellow critters, not to mention the fantastic work 826 do as a whole feels like a worthy cause for me to donate to. Last and by no means least BLGBT is the the largest supporter of the LGBT+ Community in and around Birmingham ((The original) My home town for those of you kind enought to donate and not know me). While I may not be the most active member of our community I am regardless and obviously this is a lage part of what make me the person I am and passing up the opportunity to donate funds which could help people in arose off position than myself would truely be remiss of me.

All that being said I'm sure you all want to know the specifics of this walk, starting on September 4th 2019 I'll be leaving The Shire bar and Bistro (Chehalis, Washington) and after what is hoped to be 8 Days walking a 244 mile walk I will arrive at Mordor Tattoo (Arlington, Washington) not only proving that, yes, you can simply walk into Mordor, but hopefully having raised funds for 3 worthy causes and who knows maybe get a commemorative Tattoo to mark the moment, hopefully the first of many charitable endeavours.
