£1,110raised of £1,200 target by 25 supporters

Weʼre raising £1,200 to to buy chickens, cockerels and goats for The William Stewart Foundation Farm.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

We are appealing for people to ‘buy’ a chicken or a goat so that our Foundation Farm can have animals as well as crops. There is currently only one goat and her kid. Providing chickens, cockerels and goats will mean the 200 orphans will be able to have eggs (and occasionally meat) in their diet. Eventually, any surplus eggs can provide an income. Orphans will be taught how to care for the animals and, hopefully micro businesses can be established. This farming project will provide skills, food, and income and a huge amount of hope to the orphans and the people supporting them. Thank you.

Sarah, This donation for £35 for a goat is from my friends Mike and Yvonne, from Crossgates. They would like the goat to be called Lucy, after a dog they once had.
