Story
A family is a circle of love not broken by a loss. They are there for us through our happiness and sadness.
Ivy Southern did not have any relatives or family and sadly passed away on 29th June 2019, therefore, her funeral was arranged by the manager and staff of The Willows. After staying here for 5 years she had become an integral part of the Home. Here, at The Willows, we truly believe that blood does not make you family, love does.
After experiencing a great loss at the Home, we have now decided to set up a memorial in which we will place a bench and some plants in memory of Ivy along with other residents we have recently lost in a short space of time.
Your contribution will go towards this memorial and will be greatly appreciated. Any surplus money will go towards the residents’ fund.

Having read the extremely sad story of Ivy Southern in the Rutland Mercury I want to donate this money to go towards the bench and plants in her memory.
