Hi my name is Thomas Walker, I recently have had the honor of being selected for the England Deaf rugby squad to travel to Sydney, Australia in 2018 to compete in the World Deaf Rugby Sevens.

Playing any sport with a disability puts you at a disadvantage, but being part of a group like the England deaf rugby team gives players the opportunity to play with other players of the same hearing difficulty. Players range from hard of hearing to profoundly deaf.

The EDRU have asked us to self fund the event and to raise as much as possible, the money raised will help go towards travel, accommodation, kit and other necessities. So anything you can spare to sponsor me will make a huge difference and help me to achieve this once in a lifetime opportunity.
