Thomas is going to be joining class mates on a World Challenge Expedition to Swaziland in 2018. The expedition involves project work that offers a unique opportunity to get involved in the community life and culture.
Work will include painting, construction, refurbishment, teaching, tree planting, conservation and agriculture work. They will also get to spend time with the local children playing sports, teaching English and helping out in the village.

Swaziland has the highest rate of HIV amongst the adult population in Africa. There are 180,000 AIDS orphans being supported by NCPs (Neighbourhhod care point) the children will be based at either a NCP or a local school.

Thomas is determined to raise the money to fund his trip himself through working, carboot sales, car washing etc but with the trip costing almost £3000 any and all extra help will be extremely appreciated.
