Story

We pride ourselves at Thorpe Lea Primary School and Nursery in giving our children the best start we can! Whilst our indoor environments are stimulating and well equipped, we would like to further develop our Early Years garden to provide the children with more fixed, hands on experiences including a running river, built in sand pit, bike roads and hills and tunnels. We have over seventy children in our Early Years classes which range from 2 - 5yrs and have an exceptionally large space for them to learn and play in. Our aim is to provide the children with awe and wonder experiences such as a water system that they can pump, block and transport water and a hill in which they can roll things down, push things up and crawl through a tunnel within. Please do help us in raising much needed money to ensure our children have access to both a high quality indoor and outdoor environment!
