    Story

We are aiming to raise funds to enable Mirai No Mori to help underprivileged children experience outdoor activities that many of us take for granted. More details on Mirai No Mori can be found on their homepage :

How are we going to do this?
Joe Pournovin and me are attempting 3 separate endurance challenges as a team.
May 12th 2018 Yamathon - Walk around the Tokyo Yamanote line (42km) in less than 14 hours - Complete (11 hours)
August 4th Sea To Summit - From the coast of Japan to the top of Fuji (53km ascending 3,776m) - Complete (26 hours)
September 22-24 Coast to Coast from the west of Japan to the East (165km) in under 60 hours.

Please help motivate us by donating to this worthy cause.

    Thank you,

    Mark and Joe.

Part 2 of 2 Thank you to Joe whose enthusiasm for giving back is ultimately reason this page came about. The scenery was truly beautiful it kept me motivated throughout with its mountains, rivers and rice fields. The determination of Google Maps to direct me through every rice field and gravel path there was, especially at night was unbelievable. I think I could make a comedy out of the last 5KM staggering through rice fields, alongside railway lines and past electricity substations to finally stumble into the finish. All of which led to this

Part 1 of 2 I am limited to 550 characters in an update so in order to avoid spamming you are will be brief and send only two updates. Firstly and as always a massive thank you to you, our awesome sponsors whose generousity drove us on. Unfortunately Joe had to retire after 86KM but I hoped you enjoyed his few Karaoke songs. Secondly another big thank you to Daniel and Abeesh our support team without who this would never have been possible. I did finish
