Story
Mrs Kelly Gill, Year 3 parent, will be running her very first marathon on 2nd April 2017 in Manchester. She has very kindly offered to raise money for our school by doing so.
We would very much appreciate your support in sponsoring Mrs Kelly Gill on the school’s behalf.
As you may be aware, the surface on the junior playground is suffering from wear and tear and as a result we would like to have it resurfaced. Due to the size of the playground, the costs involved will be substantial– tens of thousands of pounds. We are currently seeking quotes. As far as we are aware, there are no grants available to support us with this. We intend to write to local businesses and companies who are currently working in the local area in order to seek financial help. If you are able to secure any help on our behalf, please let us know.

7 years agoLess than 2 weeks to go and Evan (Kelly's son) has been to the school office to let us know how she is getting on. "I am proud of my Mum, she is doing really well. At the weekend we had pizza for tea but my Mum had pasta. She is eating lots of healthy food and hasn't even had any sweets or chocolate!" She is well on the way with the training and is fuelling her body with lots of nutritious food! Sounds like she is ready!

7 years agoOnce again thank you very much for your generous donations. We are overwhelmed with your support. Kelly Gill is training 3 times per week and has covered 73.2miles to date since 1st February 2017. Well done!
