It's been 2 months since being diagnosed & Tia has already endured so much with blood & platelet transfusions, lumbar punctures, retrievals of part of her bone marrow, just to name a few. Our sweet girl has been such a trooper but sadly still has a long road to recovery ahead of her. Her treatment plan is two and a half years long, so it’s going to be very taxing, to say the least!

As we all know money can be tight at the best of times when you're raising a young family. I have set up this account to help support my sister Shaima and her husband Amr, so that they needn't worry about money & coping, but instead, can channel all they have into getting Tia well again, as well as ensuring that their severely disabled son’s care doesn’t become compromised along the way.

Both parents are very hard working & committed to their children & family life, doing the best they can against the adversities that seem to repeatedly plague them. I have never been confronted with anything more soul destroying and it pains me to see their struggle, but even more so because I am unable to support them in the way that I wish I can. So the very least that I can do to assist their plight is try to raise as much money as possible, in an attempt to alleviate their financial burden.

I am therefore kindly asking my extended family, friends & followers to unite in supporting my family in the long journey they have no choice but to embark upon.
