Story
Hi, I'm the Adorable Tibbles. I wandered in 5 years' ago....... And never left. The caring property maintenance and security staff have generously given their time and money to provide me with love, food, warmth and a place to sleep ever since. They have paid for food, booster shots and flea treatment and make sure I'm supervised from Mondays through to Sundays. These bills have been solely funded by my friends for nearly 5 years now. When they found me, I was poorly, but I had a 'chip'. When my previous owner found out the cost of my treatment, they gave me over to my new family to look after me (and pay the bill!) I'm so grateful to them and love snoozing on the photocopier because it's nice and warm in their office where I also have a bed.
Some of you will have petted me because I love company and I will often meow to get your attention, especially if I want you to open one of those automatic doors (I'm not big enough to set off the sensors to open them myself)).
I've had a recent expensive illness. One of my guardians noticed I wasn't eating or drinking and I had lost a lot of weight and was sleeping a lot. I had a lot of expensive vet bills to get me back on my feet and I was hoping that some people who like cats would assist my guardians because I don't think it's fair that they pay for everything. We don't want to make money in excess of what's been paid so far, but if you can spare a bob or too, that would make me feel better. I know there are also a few people who would like to contribute to my regular food and booster shots bills.
My annual bills for food, boosters, flea treatment and check ups amount to £692. My recent vet bills were £526. Photos of bills and annual projected vet care can be found on my FB page - or ask Irene Baker - at any time for copies of my bills.
Thank you to anyone who feels inclined to help out. Find me and have a stroke and a cat-natter any time..

7 years agoHey guys. Look at this! You've been amazing- you know who you are.... and some have given cash, food, treats and bedding. This covers the first year or so of my treatment when I arrived in a very poor state. So - because I had some more extensive (and expensive) treatment again quite recently, I'm going to set this page running again if I can. I am truly humbled by your generosity and I know my guardians will be so grateful to each and every one of you.

7 years agoIt's Tibbles here, in case you didn't think I wrote my own posts or haven't seen my very own Facebook page. I wanted to send a message to "Anonymous". My Guardian has a strange look in her eyes. Something like shock and awe. I'm sure there are stars too, but they seem wet. I can't understand why she wasn't this stunned and happy when I brought her a frog last week? Well, each to their own. Apparently this gift from you will do so much more for me than a frog. I think you're incredible. Thank you.

7 years agoTo those who have supported this fundraising campaign by donating via the Just Giving page or by cash - a huge thank you. It's difficult to fund something where the money has already been spent - although it's an ongoing expense - but "my" guardians have been so generous with their time and money (one individual in particular) and they have literally saved my life twice. If anyone has spare change down the back of the sofa, and you are happy to support my new life with my new forever-family, I would be so happy to receive it - Tibbs xx
