Story
How it all started
This is Tilly. Tilly was born with a cleft lip and malformed fingers and was abandoned when she was a few days old. Thankfully she was found by a passer-by outside a local school. She then lived in an orphanage in her native China for the first 18 months of her life. When Adam and Mim first saw Tilly’s picture, it was love at first sight and this beautiful little girl was soon to become their daughter and Bella’s little sister.
The surgery ...
Tilly had some successful surgery in 2017 on both her lip and her fingers. Hooray! She won’t need any further surgery on her hands for now but more needs to be done to ensure that her nose and lip are fully repaired. The surgeon has suggested that this take place around February 2019, which will be two years after her original operation.
The needs ...
Tilly’s surgeries to date have come to around £15,000 and most of this has been raised through personal funds and friends and family. The estimate for the follow up operation is around £13,000. We would love to be able to help.
Dear friends, let’s be a huge blessing to Adam, Mim, Bella and Tilly, and show them how much we care!
