Weʼre raising £5,000 to Fund the small charity "Time for Art", a charity set up to provide creative workshops to people unable to access art.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

Time for Art is a small charity which has been set up by artist Sarah Moncrieff.
Over the last ten years she has regularly visited Empire des Enfants, a home for street children in Senegal and offered art workshops on a voluntary basis to the children residing there.
Through her voluntary work there she has seen the benefit gained by the children from being able to spend time on creative activity. The children don't have any access to artistic activities, so engagement in a workshop offers an opportunity to enjoy the act of being creative, explore creativity, put troubles on one side, and work with friends in an absorbing and fulfilling activity.
Sarah decided to set up a charity dedicated to establishing a regular programme of art workshops for groups of people denied access to art in their daily lives.
She has recently completed a commission working with prisoners at HMP Bullingdon, and saw first hand how transformative and beneficial engagement with art can be, but sadly art provision in prisons is minimal.
Sarah decided to extend the work offered by the charity so that it included working on projects in this country where art provision is lacking, such as prisons.
