Yang Shiyi is a 3-year old Chinese girl. In March 2018, she was diagnosed with the Acute Myeloid Leukemia (M4). She is currently doing chemotherapy and needs a bone marrow transplant for the radical cure. The total treatment costs about RMB700,000 (about 80,000GBP or 110,000USD). Yang is from rural Guizhou province in Southwest China. Her mom is a housewife and her father is a migrant worker with the total income of RMB 42,000 per year (5,000GBP or 6,500USD per year). The astronomical cost of the treatment is simply far beyond the family's ability to afford. They originally decided to give up the cure for Yang. Bruno Di Angelis, a Brazilian model and yoga teacher based in Beijing, heard about this and decided to champion the fund raising efforts. Since April, a group of Chinese and international people based in China, most of whom are unknown to each other, gathered together via social media to support. With the kindness and generosity of many, a total of RMB 150,000 (18,000GBP or 24,000USD) has been raised so far through various platforms and campaigns. However the donations have now slowed down and another RMB 550,000 (65,000GBP or 86,000USD) is still needed. Via this platform, we hope to reach more and raise more for this little girl to continue her treatment. We believe that together we can save this three-old's life. Thank You!
