Hi all,

A close friend of mine and partner of IFX recently told me about a little boy who is cruelly suffering the terrible disease that is Cancer.

Charlie was just one years old on the 15th of August, and he was diagnosed with a 23 cm tumor just 6 weeks ago .

It unfortunately covered his stomach and was attached to various organs and a major artery .

He has had 5 weeks of double chemo but the tumor has still grown another 6 cm, and the little fighter has advanced from stage 1 cancer to stage 3 cancer in just 5 weeks .

He was operated on last Friday where they removed as much of the tumor as they could, though he now has to endure radium therapy and another batch of chemo to try to destroy the rest of the cancer.

I represented IFX on Sunday to show our support in Spain from the team here on the Costa Blanca, and I thought it would be useful to roll this out to the company and beyond to see if we could possibly raise a few quid for a fantastic cause.

As trivial as it sounds, I have agreed to do a sponsored ‘no drink November’ (something I am already dreading as I enjoy a pint), and our newest member Dan Murphy has agreed to partake in the infamous ‘Movember’. Dan already possesses more body hair than a silverback Gorilla therefore November 30th should prove quite comical.

The money will go a long way in supporting Charlie's family and fight to recover.
