In September next year I am arranging a group climb to the summit of Ben Nevis. We are raising money for Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center. I have chosen this center to show my appreciation for John Werner who has dedicated his life to bringing people of all ages together through coaching and promoting football. His slogan is Losing Is Not An Option (LINAO) and he has shown this by facing his diagnosis of cancer with strength and dignity.

John has truly inspired me with his selfless work and I hope by doing this climb it will go some way to show my gratitude.

John sadly lost his fight in March 2018. So we are climbing in his memory.
