Story
Hi. My name is Tom, and I am raising money to go to the wonderful country of Nepal with a team of 20 students. I have the ambition to support and help the Nepalese citizens fix and rebuild the communties after the 2015 earthquake. The earthquake caused tremendous damage, destroying many houses, schools, and towers, and killing over 9,000 people, injuring over 22,000.
Now it is 2017, and still the rebuilding is not complete, which is why I intend to have an impact on the Nepalese life, by rebuilding the communities, buildings, schools, and interacting with the people, and teach them new skills.
This expedition will take place in the summer of 2018, the money will go towards flight costs, accomodation, equipment and of course, funds to help the Nepalese people get back together.
It is my dream to help people, and this is a fantastic opportunity to do so. I love that feeling of doing good things to this world to make it all a better place for everyone - regardless of where they come from or who they are.
I need every last penny any one can give, so please give whatever you can - even if you don't feel like it's a lot. A little goes a long way, or so the saying goes. I am filled with gratitude that this opportunity has risen and I want to do anything I can to help these people in dire need of assistance.
Thank You.
