Story
Toucan Diversity is an award winning user-led social enterprise based in Portsmouth. We deliver Equality training with a focus on disability. All our training is designed and delivered by a team of accredited trainers who have a lived experience of the issues they discuss.
All our trainers are supported depending on their various needs. All are accredited or are working towards becoming accredited.
The feedback from our training sessions confirms that our training is unique in the way it is delivered and that people get a real understanding of the challenging barriers people face on a daily basis.
A great training session run by young people who are able to share their experience first-hand. It reminded me of how attitudes and approaches to disability have changed only relatively recently, and that there is still a long way to go to having a really inclusive society. I will strive to make this happen as much as I can.

consist of 16 fantastic sailors all keen to raise to the challenge and raise much needed funds for Toucan Diversity. to help encourage social inclusion within our communities.
