6 years agoThe obstacles started to come thick and fast, but the elation of knowing we weren’t far from home kept us going. Supported by Sharon, Heather, Taylor and Madison, we grimaced our way through to the final obstacle. With the end insight we battled up a water soaked piramid together we had battled through A mud mile, 10 ft hero walls, killer hills, freezing cold ice pits, bar wire crawls, electric shock runs and impossible climbs and and we did it all together. Without each other’s support we and I would never have completed the course.

6 years agoAfter the killa gorilla climbs it was on to Everest, a high quarter pipe needed drive determination and a little help from your team. All 5 nailed the obstacle getting up first time as those around them struggled. I was starting to struggle as we were 6 miles in and I started to get cramp in both calves, being shocked by the electric shock wire didn’t help, but we all rallied together to attack the next half. As a team we worked together, to over come cramp, cuts and bruises, freezing cold water and a cut so deep it needed stitching.

6 years agoSo yesterday we travelled to Henley-on-Thames in the pouring rain wondering what lay ahead for us. As we arrived we could see the course elevating into the distance and disappearing through misty rain. We stood in the warm up area and we could see waves of competitors travelling round the course. Then we were off to join them. The course was boggy, slippery and far from flat, one thing was clear as team we were never going to be beaten !! The first loop consisted of several high walled obstacles, mud crawls and killer hills to climb.
