This is a campaign to raise money to buy toys for children refugees in Greece, putting a smile on their faces and giving them happiness in owning something new and special.

We wish this money to be raised by the children of the UK or their parents donating on their behalf. To all parents; what a beautiful way to teach children about charity, appreciation and love for one another

Teach them about the happiness they will bring to these children and the happiness Allah will bestow upon them in return and most importantly the acceptance of Allah of them.

Teach them that their money is not lost. Teach them about the Mercy and generosity of Allah.

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever gives charity equal to a date from good (halal) earnings – for Allaah does not accept anything but that which is good – Allaah will take it in His right hand and tend it for the one who gave it as any one of you tends his foal, until it becomes like a mountain.”

And teach them that Allah spends on them through their charity

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.’”

Teach them and and encourage them to be of the people of the following ayah:

“Believe in Allaah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allaah’s way), theirs will be a great reward” [al-Hadeed 57:7]

Finally to the parents, imagine being a mother not being able to buy your child a toy and seeing them in poverty daily. Imagine losing close family and experiencing a drastic life change, fleeing to a land that treats you like a burden. Then imagine the appreciation of that mother watching the smile of her child upon receiving a gift from you. It may seem like a small effort but that moment, her feelings and her duas for you in return will be priceless.
