Just a few weeks ago our world was turned upside down. My 33 year old. Cousin was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Unknown to us he has had it for 10 years and it's only recent his eyesight has been failing him. So a trip to A and E because he couldn't see resulted in being admitted to Salford royal hospital for emergency surgery.
After a 9 hour operation and the tumour being removed he is now on the mend.
The reason I am doing this is he has always been a self employed hard working man who looks after his family. Due to this tumour though he has been left blind in his left eye and cannot work or drive for 6 months. He has had to give back his family car. He has had to sell his work van. And is at risk of losing his family home through no fault of his own. As a close family we have helped as much as possible but we have admitted defeat and are reaching out for any help possible. Just a small donation of any kind will ease the burden For the next few weeks/months why we are coming to terms with what has happened. It will help him pay his mortgage and put food on the table. The benefit system has failed his family and because he is self employed he has no sick pay. Please share far and wide. Any amount is greatly appreciated. We are looking for £1500.
