I was diagnosed with relapse remitting MS in 2008. I was fairly stable for 3 years, but for the past 5 years it's been a fairly constant downhill battle.

I've used a mobility scooter for at least 3 years when I'm out and about, but it's so battered and bruised, and failing constantly now! This, coupled with my motability car and hoist, are my lifeline, and enable me to stay independent as much as possible.

I still manage the school run most days, and get out to the shops when I'm up to it (bad days are frequent!), and always use my mobility scooter. If it fails completely I'll be so isolated, hence I'm crowd funding so that I can buy a new scooter before my current one dies!!
