Story
TRACKS (The Residents Against the (Newberries) Car Park Scheme) was formed in February 2016 when the first rumour emerged that HBC (Hertsmere Borough Council) intended to develop Newberries Radlett Car Park.
This scheme has now progressed to the extend that a planning application to develop a two story Car Park incorporating an M&S Simply Food Store and an 80 room Travel Lodge Hotel is now imminent.
TRACKS has in excess of 1400 members, mostly Radlett residents, who are vehemently against this development which they consider will destroy their village.
TRACKS needs to raise funds in order to build a war chest to fight HBC and stop this scheme going ahead. The money raised will be used to fund marketing activities such as Leaflets, PR activities and most importantly to fund the employment of a planning lawyer. TRACKS intends to establish a legal analysis that, hopefully, will lead to a Judicial Review which could be very powerful in achieving the objective to stop this development.
If you are a member of TRACKS or just want to support TRACKS in its quest please donate what you can. If you want to join TRACKS e mail: Info@TRACKSradlett.co.uk

this development is ill-considered and disproportionate, on the back of recent extensive development already being completed at the North end of Watling street and as yet environmentally unabsorbed.
